With over 1000 participants from the corporate, political, public and academic sectors, the conference was geared to be a world leading arena for the theme renewable energy.
Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg opened the conference, and among the speakers was Oil and Gas minister Terje Riis-Johansen along with several other high profile government officials from Sweden, Denmark, Germany and USA. Managers from large international companies such as Norsk Hydro, Statkraft, REC, Vattenfall, Fred. Olsen Renewables, StatoilHydro and Think were also present and contributed to the first-class lectures.
